I have had (and reported ) a big black streak on my avatars hip for some time now. It shows both naked and clothed. Today however, with the new load the stripe more than doubled in size and I got black marks on the shoulders, face and underarms too.

I filed a bug but since I never heard anything last time and the problem never went away I felt I should post it here too. I do not see like items on other avatars (or I havent in the past) and I have yet to really see anyone today so I have no idea if I'll see them on anyone else now.

Does anyone else have this problem??

Mikiloo,
I have cable and Im not the only one who sees it on my av. It came and went today and left a alpha slit in my leg for awhile. When I logged tonight it was a big black mark. Guess I have to wear black pants the next few days if I want to be seen in the demo <snicker>.

Are you running in a window or full-screen?

If you've been running in a window, here's a potential workaround. It's going to sound a bit obscure, but here goes...

1. If you're running in a window, make sure it's entirely visible on the screen and not covered up by any other windows, and make sure it's nice and big (at least 512x512). Alternately, just go into full-screen mode.

2. Now go into Appearance. The black streak should be gone.

3. Now tweak your skin color a little and save it. (Don't worry,
you can change it back later.) If your eyes have streaks also tweak one of the sliders on them as well.

4. Now leave Appearance and the black streak should be cured--at least until the next time you try to change your appearance while running in a too-small, covered up, or off-screen window.

If you skip step 3, the streak will go away while in Appearance mode, but will return when you leave that mode. That's because the system thinks that you haven't changed anything, so your old composited ("baked";) textures are still good.

If this doesn't fix the problem, please post a bug report with a screenshot that shows the streaks.
