Why not have ALL animations set with llStartAnimation() override other animations. I posted a thread about this as well (buried too). Those animations are all-right... for things you actually express, but for stuff that actually uses regular everyday anims, its... not.

i think we should have a status like llSetStatus(BLEND_ANIM, boolean) which would toggle whether animations were added together or not.

I agree with nada. Eiather something like a SetStatus call, or an individual call such as this:
llCombineAnimations(boolean) that can be set to true/false (I thought it would be a little better making a whole new call bacause llSetStatus really is for stuff that could affect the object's movement or other things more related to a 'universal' change on an object. _____________________

how about llBlockAnimation(string anim) and it would just not allow the avatar to start the anim for the duration of the script?
