The last two weeks have been a nightmare, a complete nightmare. I do everything that Linden tells me to, i read the blog, i send tickets etc etc etc but maybe i am stupid but what the hell is going on?
Now again things are down, and nothing works. And still no one at Linden tells me what the problem is. Only thing i know is that i tomorrow is gonna pat tiers and rent, and that thing never fails.
What is wrong with Second Life? Linden refuse to tell me, can someone else please do?

i have no answers but much sympathy for you - for a while I contemplated opening an inworld business BUT the ongoing problems with linden $$$ and transfers have convinced me not to. Instead of making things prettier I wish they'd concentrate on more practical matters.

you keep saying lotsa problems, fix it.. whats going on.
you realize that like saying. The world has problems, tell me why and fix them! what problems? hunger? pollution? murder? etc...?
if you have some specific problems, you need to be very specific in describing the problems. If I got a crappy and completely useless message like that from one of my customers, I wouldn't have sent back a nice link where information is, I'd tell the person to stop yelling non-sense and give some information thats useful, and if they couldn't, I'd tell them to stop wasting my time and take their money and leave. I'd spend my time on worthwhile customers, than a lot of time on someone who acts irate and can't even tell me why. That is kinda what she said though in a very nice way. Read this and leave me alone....

As if that makes a difference, they are NOT interested. The only time I filed a support ticket in the past I was extremely specific, took them two weeks to even acknowledge my ticket, must be an all time record for crappy service. I filed a support ticket this week, it is URGENT, the server clock in my SIM is WRONG started off 55 minutes wrong, is now nearly two hours out, by the time the Lindens actually look at it it will be out by 24 hours, aargh!!!!!!!! For the $75 tier I pay a month plus the premium membership I at least expect some response from them. Seems like the best thing to do is sell my land, and change my membership back to basic, that way at least I feel that what I will be paying is exactly what the the level of service warrants.

Close down Second Life? Please, no. You have a club that makes money? You should just make your own personal statement and tier down until Second Life is in a version that you feel addresses the primary issues you are having. Or just stop logging in if you are so aggravated, but please, i would be horrified if Second Life shutdown and something tells me I am not alone in that sentiment.

My TV broke down yesterday....I paid a £90 warrany fee. They will fix it.....in 12 days. They will send a guy and if he cant fix it they will take the TV away and repair it. If they cant repair it they will provide a new one. Do I want all TV to be blocked until my TV can be fixed...nah OP Get a grip, this isnt like your RL roof caving in. Yes its frustrating but what in life (virtual or real) doesnt have problems. They really are trying to improve things and step by wobbly step I think theyre doing just that.
PS had a live event with 67 avs on the sim last night and NO LAG AT ALL wooohhoooo
