Someone help me please. I crashed in a region and for the past hour i have been trying to log in. I keep getting a message that says "Unable to connect to simulator" . I tried logging in at home and another location with no luck. I have 3 other avatars and got into sl with them with no trouble. I used an alt to ask the sim owner to restart and she did...it didn't help.  ( What can i do? |

Not sure 100% but... did you try clearing your cache? (Edit - Preferences - Network - Clear Cache... don't need to be logged in to hit that, but you do need to restart). If that doesn't work, you'll most likely need to put in a trouble ticket and wait for a Linden to reset you.

hey..i tried clearing my cache and restarting - no luck. I filed a ticket. Guess I will have to wait. Ty.

You can also try turning your entire system off for a few minutes - computer, modem, router, etc. (then back on.  )

i was able to log in with my 5 other avatars. So would restarting everything help?

You might need to get the sim your malfunctioning avatar was last in reset.

awww wtf SL..typical weekend...now I know I've never had a response as to what "SecondLife cannot be accessed on this computer" actually means... although we all suspect its to do with restricting logins... but why can't I connect to a simulator now... sighs...and its not because of high numbers..less than 50k on right now..so.. what the hell are you doing now.. and please...stop updating... every time you update you mess it up more.... jeeeesh.
Its not just us, there's a few getting this message..so its an SL thing..not an individual avator thing.
