Please someone help me. I got home today to try to log into Second life, and I got the following message. "Second Life cannot be accessed from your computer" I reported to linden labs, but why are they taking so long to deal with it. I really need to be on SL right now. its been almost 8hrs now. When I go onto the question page, it doesn't give you that much information about it.

That message can mean there's a problem with your account, or it can result from technical problems.

That message has been reported by people who share an IP number with an account that has a problem, for example, or it can result from you having been reported as a minor, or a number of different things.

It might take days to get the matter resolved, it depends on what the problem is, how you handle it with Linden Lab, and which particular Linden staff handle the matter.

In the event that it might be a technical problem, one thing to try is turn off your computer and router and modem for at least a few minutes.

But I don't understand. before I left my house that morning. I logged into SL for a few minutes to check something and log out and shut down my computer. Later on that morning. I used my sister's laptop to get on SL. SL said her graphics card didn't support SL, but it let me on anyway. Of course I couldn't do many things, I just need to check my IMs and stuff. So later that evening when I got home. I couldn't log into SL on my computer. Do you think Linden Labs maybe thought someone was using my account and block my IP number? If so,why didn't leave me a message.

First try to logon from a different machine again. This can be a network problem. Also you may try to reinstall the SL client on that computer in case your configuration may be screwed up. Make sure your account / login is working.

If you are sure that this particular machine is blocked (LL is able to do this, independent from the IP) then you should give them a call. Opening a ticket online is complete waste of time unless you have a premium account.

Why does this take so long with Linden Labs. I've done everything to try to rectify this matter. Why can't we physically talk to a person from Linden Labs. This is very bad, waiting this long for a solution. There are lot of people on SL with businesses, that don't have so much time to be waiting on technical support for so long.

Sweetheart, as I said, call them! You will wait forever if you only opened an online ticket!!!

If you would enable PM I could even give you a contact (assuming you're outside US).

The phone number is listed on that page.........about the center of the paragraph.

You can enable PM (private message) in your User CP at the top of the page you are viewing right now.

The number is for billing. they told me that can't help me. They only deal with billing issues. I am going crazy. Why is so hard to get help and support from Linden Labs. They really need a better support system.
