Hey there, I'm trying to submit a texture, but every time I try to upload it (before I even get to the preview screen) SL crashes instantly on me. Any one else having this issue?

I just tried, unfortunately it's still happening. I just got this new laptop last week, so I'm not too familiar with any of it's kinks yet. I've tried uploading on my desktop pc and I don't seem to be having any problems there :/ which is ironic considering the laptop's far superior to it. (2gb of Ram, Geforce 9500m GS, Core 2 Duo)
is there a way to submit this in as an official "help me!" topic? 'cause I'm a builder and having to convert to my crummy desktop every time I want to upload something can be quite tiresome |

I have had the same problem with a new computer I just got. I can down upload or download textures, I instantly crash.
I have contacted lindens and first they told me to clear cache, and uninstall and reinstall. That didn't help. Then they send me the link for a system test, http://secondlife.com/support/systest.php well did that and it came back fine, no issues with my computer, but still can't upload or download. I have vista, all updated drivers and nothing helps. anyone that has any further ideas would be appreciated, it is sort of good to know i'm not alone in this problem. |

I have had the same problem with a new computer I just got.. Is your new computer made by Acer or does it have something called eSecurity installed?? If so, uninstalling eSecurity may fix the problem. See the JIRA a couple posts up for details.. thanks Meade <33  _____________________
