Hi, when I try connecting to Second life after having it crash on me in Bare rose, it gets to precaching, and just closes off, no error message or anything. So what I am wondering is it just me or is everyone else having the same issue? If it is just me.. how do I fix it? Thanks for your time. ^.^

What you can try is to log in into an other location. To do so, go before you log in, to preferences > general and select your home, which is hopefully different to your last location or type in an other location.
If this is not helping you should try a reinstallation of the SL client.
Uninstall SL,
delete the folder C:\documents and settings\user\application data\SecondLife
and make a new installation of SL.
Normaly it should work now.
