Can't reach website or connect last friday and thursday

I am at my parents house now so I can post this message, but last thursday and friday I was not able to connect to the site or play secondlife. The rest of my internet seemed to work just fine (well I didn't try THAT many websites but all that I tried worked). I also tried pinging secondlife.com but there was response. Traceroute seemed to stop on a router just before secondlife.com. I tried everything I plugged out my cable-modem, reconnected, reinstalled windows etc. etc. but it didn't work. Hopefully it works again when I get to my own house tonight, but perhaps it doesn't. Is there anyone that has an idea of what is going on or how I can check what the problem is?
Could I be banned for some reason? (really can't imagine that)

You're probably banned, I wouldn't doubt it....just kidding. :D

My connection to SL and the SL website today is WAY slow (as in high ping), wonder if it's related...

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS!
