When i start Sl up a window pops up with all kinds of tech info, then Sl starts up..It seems to run fine its just strange that there is a second window? How do i "turn it off" cause when i exit the Tech window Sl exits? Im running on Vista, 1.23.4

It's called the Console Window. To disable it, click Advanced at the top of the screen, and then uncheck Console Window in the menu. There's also a keyboard shortcut for it, but I forget what it is.
If the Advanced menu is not visible for you, hit ctrl-alt-D to show it.
