I havn't been able to get on much lately but I've noticed that every time I get on my plants have vanished. Does anyone know what the problem is with this?

The only thing i can suggest is make sure they aren't editable, which means anyone can fly by and delete them.

If anyone else has a suggestion please say! :)

That happend to me alot. I thought no one was supposed to be able to remove things on your property, except you. Why wasn't this implemented?

I think there is a bug of things disappearing out there right now. This problem is probably part of that.

what Aurelie said. if you are pulling the default plants from your inventory or from the lanscaping kit, the plants have move and modify turned on. modify allows anyone to delete them. So make sure you turn Move and Modify off after you plant them. =]

This has happened to me twice this week. Both times I was on my property when suddenly the sim would close for maintenance and when I logged back in a few minutes later, I immediately noticed that plants, flowers, trees and the decking around my pool were gone. It happened again yesterday after I had spent an hour replacing everything.
The first time I lost $660.00 and yesterday I lost $1180.00 worth of landscaping. THAT’S $1840.00. I pay enough in taxes, I can not afford this happening several times a week. Both times I sent bug reports, but as with other reports and emails I received no response from the Lindens. One thing any business must learn to survive is that customer service is of utmost importance or they will be doomed. Now that we have become paying customers, they have to at least acknowledge our correspondence and it would be nice to be reimbursed for the $1840. I lost for something beyond my control (especially since tomorrow is tax day and I lost half of my account because of a glitch)

If Buck Mountain looks somewhat barren lately, it is because I have not replaced the vanishing landscaping because of fear it will happen again and because I lost many expensive plantings that I had not copied and am now unable to replace them.

hmm... Must be the SL smog... (you can only see it if your draw distance is around 64) ;)
