well, i was doing some major re-organizing of my inventory and after i was done i logged out for a while, and when i logged back in i found that a lot of the things i had put into folders were no longer in folders... which isn't a major thing, i can just put them back... However, some of those things were in folders that somehow got placed outside the "My Inventory" folder, and i'm unable to move them or do anything to them really...
so i can't move, delete, or wear (SL crashes if i try) anything in any of the folders outside "My Inventory"
i tried posting a ticket about this directly to LL but got an email back saying "you're only a basic account you don't get to have your problems fixed" lol XD
i would really appreciate some help if anyone has any ideas
p.s. yes i've tried clearing the cache, probably at least 20 times by now XD

You might want to go premium for a month and make them earn their ten bucks solving your inventory problem.
You could try a different version of SL viewer, not that I have any reason to think that would work.

I have the exact same problem, actually. It happened ages ago; I was futzing with demos of things, crashed out, and when I came back I had several folders below the Inventory that I couldn't modify. You -can- copy the items and paste them back into the Inventory folder, but you cannot delete or move the rogue folders.
It's weird, and annoying, as it looks kind of cluttery, but otherwise seems to have no major detrimental effect. Still, if you manage to get anyone to fix it, do mention how?
