i have a brand new computer, and since it doesnt have the nvidia or ati graphic card it wont work, why is that

simple
nvidia and ati make graphics cards that handle realtime 3d the best, others may work, some just dont have the features to actually do realtime 3d graphics
its kinda like expecting your ford escort to haul a semi trucks worth of weight , just isnt gonna happen

Maybe tell us what kind of graphics it does have. If it’s an Intel 945 or higher chipset you still should be okay. Graphics cards that run SL have really dropped in price too. Just a tad more info from you and I’m sure we can help with suggestions.  |
