how can i send an im from my email to a friend in SL if they have not Imed me first.

it used to be possible to reply emails, nowadays it still is if you reply right after the msg is sent I think, also I think it is very sensitive to email formating, encoding, and things like the sender and reply-to fields or somthing, though it can't be relied upon, you never know when your time is up, or when your email client settings will make the system chew your email but never spit out nor swallow

I usually use http://zonkster.com , though with that there is the risk that the person will ignore the msg thinking it was some random object spam (happened with a friend of mine once), I usually try to remember to add to the end of the msg a request that the person confirms they got my msg
