This may sound stupid to some folks and not to other geforce owners, but I have noticed that some games work better with a certain detonator driver installed then others.
And it appears that it's the case for SL on my machine.
Right now i'm using DET's 45.23's which seem stable enough but I'd like to know from the general population which version detonator or forceware works great on the Geforce 4 TI series.
Well I guess it's user input but would greatly appreciate to hear some feed back.

I own that precise card, and have no difficulties with whatever the latest version is.
GeForce's drivers are always more stable than ATI's.

Well thats great to hear. The reason why I mention i'm using versions 45.23's is because for games that I play in open gl. Some games which use direct 3d I have marked down to a science. Morrowind and NWN use 41.09, UT2K4 47.63, UT2k3 30.82's and the many more lol. But I will try the latest forceware ones I just hope I don't notice performance lost on all my games. Thanks for the input also

I found 43.03 to be very stable for my GeForce4 Ti4x00 cards.
Anything above 54.xx requires a lot of tweaking to be stable. Check the control panel to be certain every DLL is the same version. To ensure I have only the NVIDIA video drivers installed, I always have to remove the Microsoft default versions in Safe Mode, reboot, reinstall NVIDIA.com downloads in Safe Mode.
YMMV.

I'm doing just fine with the 1.0.5336 drivers. My only real complaint is that I need to exit X11 to upgrade, because it doesn't like having a version mismatch between the OpenGL DSOs and the kernel/X11 drivers.
