I have problem with SL I can not open it

after I write my name and password I receive this meassage :

second yeah I updated my clock and time but the same message is appear

Make sure the date is correct, not just the time, the date , month and year, and make sure the time is am or pm properly.

Turn off your computer , modem , router, etc. for a minutes and turn them back on.

Make sure your firewall or firewalls are not blocking SL.

Make sure you have the proper ports open the proper way for SL.

sorry ,, I did all of that befor I wrote my prob ,, but the same message is appeare

I opened SL only 1 time after I updated the clock , date and time zone, turn of my computer and modem

but then the same message is appeare agian...

but sorry I did not understand last sentence

what is the ( proper ports ) ?

As far as I can tell, this happens when SL can't establish a secure connection, and decides it's probably because the cert erroneously appears to be expired. So there are several theories:

1. The clock really is wrong. It's very easy to overlook daylight savings time settings, or even the year. (Also, I see some references that it's possible the BIOS clock is somehow not getting updated when the OS clock is changed, or that the little Li battery needs replacing.)

2. The network is blocking the port/protocol used for establishing secure connections, hence the mention of routers, firewalls, etc.; I guess it could even be the ISP, theoretically. (Not sure which port, unfortunately.)

3. SL logins are b0rked, and authentication really is timing out. There have been recent problems with logins, but if this is the cause, one would expect other messages to appear, too, like the dreaded "despite our best efforts" thing, or "cannot connect to a simulator."

my friend download it last night and he logged in from the 1'st click "lucky bastred" lol
