Menu/toolbar/control problem

I downloaded the newest version of SL as prompted at my last log in...all worked fine, but now when I log in I cannot see any information on the top menu bar or the bottom toolbar..if I click on the bars text appears but the camera and movement control boxes are blank...alllthough if I click in the blank box I can obtain movement.
I have un-installed and re- installed...but the problem persists. Being only a basic account holder I cannot submit a ticket to support about this issue...PLEASE HELPPPPPP !!!!

Downgrading may temporarily solve the problem, however eventually you will need to upgrade again.

Thanks very much for your reply....I am now back to a fully working SL...the older version srted out all my problems...thank you SO MUCH !

I had tried everything at was at a loss...nothing had worked..major crashes...tollbars/controls. menus etc not rezzing....unintalling the new softwaare and going back to the previous edition has got everything back working again...I am so relieved....can't do without SL !!!!
