Something rather odd.

Two PC's Pretty much same (ish) spec, both with XP and a default installation of the latest Firefox web browser.

Running Spybot search and destroy (real time protection) and NON Antivirus.

Whilst one PC can access these forums fine, the other just says I need to log in to access the forums. when I click the link to move to the login page it keeps retrying the link and then gives up, and says soemthing about cookies may be blocked or some similar error.

Odd, as I've not adjusted anything on Firefox and it's a normal default install which Appears to access any other web sites and forums fine.

Yet my other PC and this works pc both access fine.

any thoughts?

You might try clearing your browser's cache and deleting the cookies for secondlife.com.

Thanks. I will try that.

I should have mentioned in my 1st post that I definatly used to be able to access these forums on my 2nd PC and I've not chanaged any settings on the machine myself, just not used it for a while.

Oh, and there has been some normal windows XP updates in the past week or so.

I have the updates installed and have no problem, using IE.Can you try another browser? That may help define the problem.
