Missing Textures on old products?

I have a couple of household items, both of which were created quite a while ago and are very popular, that have suddenly (in the last couple of days) developed a Missing Texture on one of several linked prims. I cleared cache, deleted cache, tried it with different AVs, and 'took' and re-rezzed one of the items, no change. This happens even when the texture console shows that every texture has fully loaded.

On my 1.19 client, the textures look like the B&W "Missing Texture", on my 1.20 client they show as a simple gray matte.

Has anyone else been seeing this?

This is on a pretty good machine with an 8800GT card, and both these products have been in place, without problem, for months.

It could be that the texture got garbage collected (not likely if it's a common texture/product) or that LL removed the texture from the asset server.

Another possibility is that I've noticed that some sims won't properly serve some textures (one of my HUDs would just stay at a solid colour no matter how much time passed and the texture itself stubbornly stuck at 0x0 dimensions). Tp'ing to a different sim, clearing cache (the viewer won't refetch so this really is required) and relogging fixes it for me so that might be worth a try as well.

(In your case you'd have to rez it on a different sim than the one it's currently on and only then clear cache/relog since in my case it was a HUD which goes wherever I go :))
