when i go to play the game it starts fine but when it starts to load it says there is a new version that i need to download where do i download the version at?

It sounds like your auto-updater isn't working. That's not a problem, download the latest version at www.secondlife.com/download

Just push the 'yes' button, it should download automatically.
Otherwise just go to the same page you downloaded the client from and download it there. _____________________
