I don't know if anyone is able to help with that but lately when I go to change outfits or rezz items from my inventory I get a little drop down menu that tells me "Failed to find **** in data base".

Is there any way to retrieve those items or are they lost in the great big black hole that is SL forever???

Same thing happened to me the other day on one hand with some nails I bought. I looked in the lost and found=nothing. So I bought the nails again. This never happened to me before;weird.

Missing Inventory (nearly whole inventory)

I get that a lot.
But today I log in and have almost NO inventory. It's all gone. I had to go buy clothes. (Remind me not to go to bed naked again.)

A lot of times a simple cache clearing will bring back your inventory. If that fails then a maual deletion of the cache folder from your hard drive should work. You can find where your cache folder is by looking at the location on the network tab in your preferrences.

I'd certainly do that before I went out and purchased anything again. It's a very rare incidence where any inventory is totally lost from the servers.
