Someone Help Me Plz!!!!=(

Hi my name is Duke and im having problems with SL,When i log in im fine im not laggy at all,but i crash within 2-5mins,everything rezzes fine exept the ground,it is black with big blue lines threw it,like a grid. I have had this problem before like 1 year ago,but it would tell me before i log in that i needed to downlod somthing,i downloaded it and it was fine,but i resently reformated my pc and i forgot about the file i downloaded,and SL isnt informing me of any problems this time and i cant remember the name of the file,but im not sure its the same thing,it is just weird cos im not laggy at all it is fine but i just crash all the time i never last more then 5 mins,plz help me,i need to get back!!!!

Sounds like you may need to update your video driver. What video card is in your computer?

well im not sure,but this pc is about 2 years old,how do i update the video cards?

Get the drivers from the website of the chip manufacturer (probably either Nvidia or ATI).

What have you got your view distance set to?

draw distance is 96

and i think it may be ATI have you got a link for a place i can get the better ATI for SL?

Can you give me a link to a page of the one you think i should download cos im not to good at these things so could you plz give me a link to a a good driver so i can download it ty =)

The scan is free but you have to subsribe to get the drivers you might need. But it will tell you which drivers are out of date or need updating including the version number. You can then go to the website to get the needed drivers.
