Ok, I'm sure this is mentioned somewhere, probably deeply embedded in some other thread, but it was brought up briefly last night during an intermission on our Griefer Defense Rally out in Shipley/Hawthorne, and Billie, Sassy, and I were all standing around and I couldn't help but notice the unnatural shaded areas (oval/ellipse shaped, sorta teardopped even) at all of our feet. I'm pretty sure this is shadow, and maybe it was there all along and I just never noticed, but I do recall hearing mention of how putting on "new shoes" is a disappointment when there are dark socks shown - even though they're not REALLY socks... Anyway. Just some feedback. Oh, and turning off the local shadows does not seem to have any impact on this, but I did not restart the client after toggling this setting. My $0.02.  -Voodoo

the shadow appeared when the pants length increased. Seems the shadow sits where the pants USED to stop. I filed a bug on it in the .5 beta before it was released inworld.... although brining it up never hurts.  |

I had the same problem today, except my shadows were white... Fun stuff...
