"Unable to connect to SecondLife.
DNS could not resolve the host name.
Please verify that you can connect to the www.secondlife.com web site. If you can, but continue to receive this error, please go to the support section and report this problem."

And obviously, my connection is fine, since I'm here posting the problem. Anyone else getting an issue right about now, or is it just me?

The first time, I tried it a couple more times, and I got in... Then it lagged me out and gave me the error again.

Worth noting- when I log in an alt account, all seems fine.

Hmm, don't find an official announcement about this anywhere can you provide a link or are you a SL official? :)

Most people can post on the forums or even play WoW just fine when their DSL is clogged & throttled to dialup speed.
The fact the problem only happens on one of your accounts though points at that account, submitt a support ticket, prehaps your ccharacter is stuck ghosted somewhere, try looking for them with your alt account where they were last.

Mostly likely your ghosted. (aka stuck in world) I got this same message a few times when I was ghosted. As well as a lovely wait a half hour and log in again message. Honestly the best way to fix it is to ask them to restart there land. If there nice they will. Otherwise you'll have to wait for LL to give you a useless clear your catche message and then another note hopefully answering you. That takes like 2-3 days if your lucky. :) good luck. Another thing you can try is if you log on as your alt and send yourself something, a not, a $L, a item, etc. Sometimes it will kick them. But if your really stuck well it won't.

This is some kind of thing that that started last weekend I'm told. Many MANY people were ghosted last weekend apparently including me. Or so I've been told.:)
