Has anyone out there gotten the newest crop of ATI cards to run per their equal In an Nvidia
class card?

Over 4 different machines and massive testing ( a 20 year computer tech) there seems to be huge OpenGl issues with ATI hardware and SL . my old 6600gt throws more frames FPS than my 4870 on a core 2. or any of the ATI machines I own. (2400 HD and 3650 HD)

Any takers on this problem?

My Radeon 3400's running on par with my geForce 7200. The Linux drivers seem to be considerably more stable and delivers slightly to moderately better framerates than Vista.
