All those that agree that LL should roll back to the previous version of SL, post here and add any comments that you see fit. Just so you know, I think we should, cuz right now, the game is totally screwed up!

Yeah…good luck with that roll back thing!
Have your tried reverting to an earlier viewer? Here is a link but I’m not sure, you still maybe forced to the newest version.

BTW 1.13.X had its share of serious issues that left many people out in the cold. I do agree though that 1.14.(whatever) has some client side problems that seem to effect a wider group.

That’s all….I’ve nothing witty to add that hasn’t already been covered in so many other posts.
Good luck

Pointless to even be in world right now! I bought a brand new PC loaded that should run SL very easily and more but I only run SL and crash if I move and or no tps are working to anywhere, very slow rezz and objects will not attach....very sad :(

I have yet to update to the newest version, everytime I log in and it says it recommends that I update, I disregard it. I seem to have less problems than the ones who have updated.

I have a copy of the download for the 1.13... well ya the one before the 1.14 viewers.. Anyways, if anybody needs a free copy. look me up in game.. I would have to send it via email though.. Just so you know that ahead of time :)
However if this is going to be a problem with the Lindon's, I will not do it.
Thank you!!

I actually upgraded to the new version when it was first available, only to run into a ton of issues that I had never encountered before. I gave it two days before giving up, uninstalling and re-installing the older version. I am once again able to enjoy SL without many problems. I've heard that this 'optional' upgrade is supposed to become required soon - anyone heard anything more on this? I dread the day!

But doesn't it keep popping up everytime you log in?

Yep, unfortunately it does show up every time! I just click continue instead of upgrade - every single time! Sucks, but is still better than attempting that new version again - as far as I'm concerned.

I disregard it too every time I log into sl too. However I believe this is currently the version used in First look where I use it every day. No problems with it there.
