llPushObject is broken, even at ~0 distance

As I mentioned in the thread here, the supposed 1/r^3 change for llPushObject seems to have broken a number of scripts that push on collision, and so should have negligable distance attenuation.

It also breaks about 30-40 melee weapons I sold that have a "weak" push (belts the avatar back about 5 meters, or rather used to.)

This is a rather mean thing for them to do, breaking something like this. There are better ways to take care of griefers (and I am assuming that is what this is about.)

Apparently, this fix does very little to nothing to griefers that use llPushObject() with large push values, since usually, those push values are still significant enough to effect people large distancs away from the pushing object. Its the finely tuned pushers that were mostly affected by this update it seems.

I havent tested it, but Id assume a pushObject with an llPow(2,32) (largest 'int' integer) push would still drive a person 10 - 20 meters away from the pusher out of the current simulator.

Like I said on the scripting forum, I kinda with we were consulted about changes like this before they were done. We may have been able to think up a better solution to whatever the problem was....better to use 100 people to think than 20. :(

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS!
