I know this is a known issue at this point (at least two JIRA's talk about it, although one is supposedly resolved), but it's starting to get really frustrating, so I'm looking to see if anyone has any advice.

The problem: TP into an area and wait for textures and sculpts to load. Move into a different spot, or just turn and look the other direction. When you turn the camera back, you have to wait for the textures and sculpts to load again.

Anyone have any advice on how to solve this problem? Seems new since viewer 1.22 or so.

I've maxed out my cache size, which I would think would be directly related... Or should I be increasing texture memory as well?

That is VWR-11420 and a lot of related bugs. There isn't a whole lot you can do to really, really fix it, the logic for discarding old textures just isn't very good in the released viewers.

You can give Snowglobe a spin and see how that works out for you. That viewer uses some different ideas to decide what to discard, and the 1.2 release that came out recently has most of the bugs in that new method squashed.
