Whenever I use a vehicle -- any vehicle -- I end up underground in a vehicle I have absolutely no control over. It takes several seconds for it to respond to my commands.

I experience very little lag in SL otherwise. I'm on a super-fast cable connection. Lag only really kicks in on my account when I board a vehicle. The free Linden hoverboard is totally useless to me... 4 seconds after I board it, I'm underground or 500m in the sky.
