Can doing a certain action (Example: opening map or editing appearance) causing a crash? I think it happens to me I have a Visiontek ATI X1550.

Yes everything you do in SL can cause a crash especially when you are using an ATI card.

Check for a more recent video driver. It happens a lot if your card is struggling with SL's graphics.............some action(s) that cause a sudden increase in what your graphics card needs to render sort of overwhelmes it and it quits. Then you crash. |
