Can I change my password?

It actually turns out that I forgot to put the last letter/number of my password in when I signed up, and now I have to remember not to put it in every time I log into the site (since I have the game on auto-login). Is there any chance of me being able to change it?

In addition to this I thought I could do it through the pw changer on the forum, but even when that says I've changed it, the password just goes back to the original one. What's up with that?

Thanks for the help Linden.:D

the forum and the site are two separate systems.

I'm saying that, other than changing my password on the client, I tried to change it for this forum too (since the same password and name are given to you so you can access the forum).

So I tried to change my forum password but THAT wouldn't allow itself to be changed either! Weird stuff seeing as how it actually confirmed that my password changed too.

Just so you will know... I also found that the Password given to my Beta Account when I signed up for the Client.. truncated the last character of my Password. Now I am also forced to remember to LEAVE OUT the last character of my password in order for it to be accepted on the Client Log-in when I play each night.

I wonder if this is happening to others.. or might there be a PASSWORD CHARACTER Limit imposed in the Beta Account sign-up page? :(

that's highly possible.
my original password was 9 characters, and 8 seems like a suitable limit if there was ever one...
how about you, what are your password lengths (original and truncated)

the permissions are most likely setup so that you cannot change your forum password...since when you signup as a beta user they add your account to both the client and the forum, same name, same password...and they don't want it to get confused. even if the forum DID let you change it, it wouldn't change your client password, as nada said, it's a different system.
