Hi,

I am a new user of second life and would like to know if there is any way to link my online survey to SL???

In other words, I have created my survey online. I am interested to link or host that survey in SL so i can ask SL people to fill it for me. Is it possible? How??

Thank you ...

A lot of people in SL don't like surveys.

You can use the llLoadURL command to make an object display a message and offer to launch and url in an external browser. There are two examples in the wiki at http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/LlLoadURL . If I were to be doing this, I'd also make a texture with words of explanation and apply it to the scripted object's face. I'm not sure what you mean by linking or hosting the survey beyond that.

You can include the url of your survey in your forum signature here, if you plan on posting very much, over time people might see that and possibly fill out your survey. If you have a webpage that deals with Second Life, you can start a thread about that website in these forums, in the Resident Run Websites forum, and then include a link to your survey on that page. If you spend much time in crowded areas in Second Life, you can get a titler and put the url of your survey and a request to fill it out in text floating over your head.

Regarding Brianna's picture, Burger King is right, the lady with the gaping empty eye sockets and teeth sticking out the sides of her head would be somewhat disturbing to have around the castle. ;)
