I can't TP to certain sims, and my friend is having the same Problem.

When I go to...or get tp'd to Magenta or Indigo..all I see is a half black/half grey screen...and no land on the map at all.
and its not my graphics card, I used to be able to go there, and it started after an update.

I have all the latest drivers

I've dumped and re-installed SL

My Friend has spoken to a linden about it who insists it's her card which it's not, otherwise I wouldn't be having the same problem. What Do I do?

Yeah, depending on which Linden your friend talked to, they may have been talking to someone who really doesn't know anything about computers at all.

Assuming that other people are able to enter those sims, it sounds like it's probably a networking issue. If you don't TELEPORT, are you able to walk into those sims?

And he insisted it was a vid card problem which it's not.

And yes, I can walk into them as well as TP, but once I'm there, it wigs out.

Are you sure your friend was describing the problem in the same way? Did he understand that it was sim-specific? Did Andrew offer any suggestions as to what might be done to fix it, or the specific problem with the model of video card?
