I'm new to Second Life, and I was just wondering how do I put someone in my partners text box in my profile. I tried typing in it, but it didn't work. How do I do it?
Sorry for posting in this forum, but you didn't have a newbies forum, and none of the other ones seemed right for me to post in.

You have to e-mail Linden Labs and request that you have a partner there. (I think to Robin?) She will e-mail the prospective partner to see if they are in agreement. If they are she plugs in the names.
This is not a step to be taken lightly, they are working on defining true partners i.e. sharing of land, monies and names. And how to divide the assests if there is ever a breakup.
