Two annoyances with upgrade

With the latest upgrade, my avatar is being rendered horably. It looks like someone flayed my skin or clothes...what was a smooth rendition is seriously jagged and often distorted now. Anyone else seen this? It appears worst on my own avatar, others seem fairly good.

The other issue is I am having a terrible time selecting an avatar either others or my own...I'm referring to the right click selection for taking off clothes, accessing groups, sending IM's or paying. Unless I focus on an attachment, it seems the click passes right thru the avatar?

Ideas?
Please!?

As far as looks.. just lighting seems a bit different to me.. My annoyances are my gestures keep deactivating, and when I try to concentrate my camera on a model or pose the camera zooms around underground or in walls..

Not getting anything near your second one though.

on your 2nd annoyance, ive found a few times what should hit the avatar doesnt.

this happens very rarely for me though, and tilting the camera to another posistion with ctrl and alt, seems to always fix it... maybe try that?

I found the source of both annoyances. They were tied to the fact that I needed to upgrade my ATI video drivers after the last upgrade. Once i did that, to the 3/27/07 release, both problems cleared up immediatly. Just information for anyone else that might experience it.
