Yellow flashes

With 1.2.3 often all textures (not avatars) begin to flash yellow and white, then it returns normal, then begins again flashing.

I'm not drunk nor... so I think it is an issue with my ATO 9600 PRO, but never happened until 1.2.3.

Must perhaps change some video setting? Corrupted installation?

It happens mainly when seeing Taessa LOL

This is a long-time issue for ATI users, and each new release seems to add more to the bunch. I got hit by this with the release of 1.2.

Things I have found that help reduce the problem, but not eliminate it:

1. Clean out your SL cache EVERY time before logging on.
2. Turn off AGP graphics acceleration
3. Set your graphics memory in SL preferences to as high as your vid card is rated. Some people suggest the opposite, but I have found the texture bugs are less persistent if I do this.

TY Ana!

I already turned off AGP acceleration (otherwise I'd crash every 3 mins) and set my video card memory to the highest, but the interesting thing was cleaning out the cache!
I logged in and for some hours never had that problem again.

Btw it would be nice to have the possibility to choose the cache folder...
