I just created an account in this game, downloaded second life and installed it and tried to log in, but it just tells me that it's unable to do anything because of an unknown error.
My internet-connection is a lot faster than I can set it in the options menu and my computer exceeds the system requirements. I also set my firewall to allow the required ports.
Does anyone have any idea what might cause this problem?

Did you get the email with the link to activate your account? Also SL can be a little whacky sometimes so try back a little later.

Yeah, I activated my account per e-mail.
I guess it's just SL being weird then.

If you want some real assistance here in the technical issues section of the forum you should give a little more detail. What exactly did the error say? What OS do you use? And just because your computer exceeds the system requirements listed on the SL website doesn’t rule out anything. There are a whole host of problems that people with really really nice computers can have with SL. Most always they get sorted out though. Good luck

I'm using Windows XP Service Pack 2. I even made you a screenshot of the error message: I shows that message after the game gets stuck on "Logging in..." for a while. Happy?

I just submitted a support ticket and in their response they told me to provide a dxdiag log and and the second life log to be able to diagnose the problem better. However, when I try to access the support ticket, or just try to make a support ticket, I get this error: From: someone Insufficient Account Information
Invalid SLA!
So... yeah, I can't submit any additional information. And I can't reply to the e-mail itself either. Is there any other way to contact LL for this specific problem?
