I discovered a new bug with the editing for the past few days.. I would be in edit mode and when i gran the position arrows and slide the object it would slide back where it started from, same with the other positioning tools.. i am also finding a problem with textureing where i would set some numbers in the texture area in edit and click on another object and it would reset the texture to 100.000 in both boxes..lmao very strange yes but this is happening to me and it's very agravating<sorry for spelling>> what can i do?

Try logging out and back in? Could be a problem with your connection dropping or something.

Did moleculor's suggestion work?

I have this problem on a relative constant basis. Wehenever I am building within the last month. Objects are constantly snapping back into original position. I have spent 30 minutes creating a shape only to have it completely revert to it's original shape when I click on something else. Needless to say this is viciously frustrating.

The place I have found it most rampant is actually using the stretch tools. Using exact numbers most often avoids this problem. However. even the numbers fail once in a while. And when the numbers fail, the shape jumps around like mad for a few seconds before reverting to it's original shape :(

If this is a connection problem PLEASE someone tell me! I will say in my defense however, that I relog usually about 1 time per hour to assure good connection. There are up to 3 people going through a single cable connection at times, however I have experienced this problem even when I was the only one online.

I have been having a similar problem for months. I have bug reported it, but to no avail.

Usually happens to me when I am using an alpha (as in foliage making), I will make an object alpha and apply the texture to one surface, stretch the object to the size I want and then apply the texture to the opposite side, click "Select Texture" and attempt to flip the texture so it will line up and POOF! the object will jump to a completely different size. I've gotten used to this and anticipate it every time now and usually I will have to resize several times before the object becomes stable.

My problem is almost exclusively with resizing a prim with the drag points. And then, it's usually hen I'm making something thinner in at least one dimension.

I had it happen today, in fact. Rezed a cube, grabbed the top blue handle and dragged it down to flatten the object. Without deselecting the prim, I started to drag it, and it popped back up to it's original size. This happened three times in rapid succession.

I've found that by just waiting a moment before touching it again will let the change you made become "real", and then you can continue building.

This occurs for me even when I am the only avatar in a sim. It drives me crazy but I have been here for a long time now. hehe I have become very tolerant of relentless bugs. This is however probably the worst, but only out of nuisance.

I've noticed this since the start of 1.3...I just assumed it was a recent bug and went on with things, but I've noticed that the 'sensitivity' of the handles seems to be less than before. You can grab a handle and begin to drag it, but it slips right out of your 'grasp' unless you more explicitly pause over an arrow or handle, click on it and drag.

It takes a firmer hand to build than it used to it seems. We've got to to make those prims heed! No more namby-pamby prim whisking for us any longer :-0

We should start prim-busting rodeo events!
