I have often noticed our avatar's legs, feet, twitching nervously when we are just standing around talking. Often times the ankle seems to bend sideways. What causes this and can anything be done to fix it?

First: Try removing your attachments Second: Go into preferences and uncheck "avatar vertex program" in the graphics tab. Then relog and you should be okay. Adam

Of course, you sacrifice a lot of performance by unchecking Avatar Vertex Program.
This is a glitch that appears to be stemming from rounding errors in Havok. Take a close look at your feet - you're actually floating slightly above the ground - something feet-shadows will obfuscate.
Ultimately, the solution may be to stand on more solid ground, and/or wait for Havok 2 integration.

try taking off all of your attachments. some events (linkmessage that I know of) in attachments can actually cause your avatar to bounce slightly which might also cause the twisted ankle (not a joke, but funny ).

From: ArchTx Edo I have often noticed our avatar's legs, feet, twitching nervously when we are just standing around talking. Often times the ankle seems to bend sideways. What causes this and can anything be done to fix it? I'm not sure we're talking about the same things, but I've had similar behavior when I'm on non-level ground. Doen't have to be radically non-level, either. Turning my ao on seems to help. Jess

Hmm, had the same issue with bouncing merrily while standing still. It was caused by my shoulder cat attachment, then by some of my shoes...taking it off helps, but I wish there was an easier way to do it. I miss my cat.

I use the so called "Glitch" to my advantage. My Drider AVs have very fine, spindley legs ( if I could post an animated example I would), and the 'realistic' movement of the AVs legs comes from this. Spider Legs twitch, and I find it quite useful personally.
I see no need for a fix or any fix soon, because while they're at it LL could also fix the eroneous, annoying head movement when I'm trying to take a face shot of my AV or head attachments and playing catch the attchment or drag out a posing stand and repositon everything
They simpley need an optional feature of "Stop all movement" or something.
