I can't seem to get in since this afternoon. I am using 1.09, but I was when it was working this morning, too.

I am not sure what is happening.

I stand corrected, it hangs on "Connecting to Region."

Sounds to me like the sim you want to login to is down. Change your preferances to log you into a different location (Home instead of last/last intead of home).

Good luck :)

I guess if you were at home when you last logged off, you're SOL, then?

Actually, I've logged in before when my last-logoff sim was down. The system logs you on as normal and moves you to a nearby sim automatically, with a short message to explain how you got there.

(It's kinda like passing out drunk and waking up with no idea where you are or how you got there. Not that that's ever happened to me. I just think that's probably what it's like. I'm not convincing anyone, am I? I'll just shut up now before I swallow my whole foot.)

As long as you still know who you are, right Grim? :p

Nicole - first thing I'd do is use the 'tracert secondlife.com' command from a dos prompt to see if it was my connection or not.

Hmmm, traceroute seems fine. Sometimes I get in and I am invisible to myself and I have L$10000.
I don't mind having the money, but I can't do anything.
