At least one error message refers to a C:/ path, worse the path not counting "c:/" dose not egsisist.

Perhaps because it's "C:\" not "C:/"?

Can you be more specific about the error message?
I run on both the PC and Mac, but I do not recognize the error.

Ah, I failed to see that this was a Mac forum, hehehe. Sorry, not familiar enough with Mac to help on this.

I've been having trouble creating the error. To get it I had to be online, but unable to connect to sl for some unknown tecnical detail. i'll tinker around, if I can get the message again. I'll quote it.

Alright. Even though I'd like to see the error so I can help (I don't remember seeing anything like that on either version, but I don't doubt there's a possible error), I'm glad to hear that you're not seeing the problem crop up as much.
Good luck.

I found the error message! Despite our best efforts, something unexpected has gone wrong. Please go to the Support section of the SecondLife.com web site and report the problem. If possible, include our SecondLife.log file from: C:\Documents and Settings\<name>\Application Data\Second Life\logs Thank you.
I have no idea how to recreate the problem. But I think it may be possible to recreate the problem if the server is bizzy, or maybe by interrupting network traffic.

Those log files should be in your ~/Library/Application Support/Second Life/ folder... that is the equivalent to the app data folder in Windows.
If you want to email those logs off to SL.
