Advertising suggestions

Hi Guys!!

I am wanting to advertise my event I have every Sunday in SL but I don't own land. I can't post events on the event section. Are there other reliable vehicles to use in SL where I can get the word out without spamming?

Well, there are a few ways, such as blog/media exposure. Although the periodicity might not allow it as much. But how about Twitter? It is quite noisy already but doesn't hurt.

There are also the spam forums, 'Special Attractions' for posting events, although again the periodicity doesn't make it as special lol, /116/1.html

What is it about by the way? It might be easier to suggest if we know what the event is about.

Btw you don't own land, so where do you hold the events then? On public linden land?

Yeah, I just bounce around sims that allow me to hold these workshops......

These workshops are not Second life exclusive. Its a growth and leadership workshop. I haven't seen much of a market for it in Second life so far. I am mainly advertising outside of Second life. However, I am wanting to advertise in world.........

I will be getting land here soon. I am sure that'll help a lot

One of my biggest issues of advertising out of world is getting people to join second life....I think for those of who don't understand virtual worlds. Its hard for them to grasp. So I would like to get a good inworld following.......
