[left]I am pleased to announce the creation of the Art & Artist Network! group. This group was founded as a central network within SL for the promotion of Art events of all kinds. Enrollment is open to anyone, there is no fee to join, and ALL MEMBERS have the ability to send group notices!

I belong to a number of Art & Artist groups, but not everyone agrees on the use of the group IM as a way to promote events... so I created the Art & Artist network as a way for those who are interested in being "in the know" about the Art world of SL to stay plugged in!

To join: Simply do a search for "Art & Artist Network!" in the Groups search, and click the Join button! Please do feel free to share your knowledge about upcoming art events, gallery openings, art blogs/web forums, etc.

Interested in gallery openings, art auctions, gallery walks, emerging artists, live musical performances, machinima festivals, art fundraisers, artist blogs, art publications, meetings, etc? This is THE group to join! For Artists & Art Lovers alike!

Second Life is becoming increasingly important to the Art World! Stay connected!

MEMBERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO POLITELY PROMOTE ART EVENTS & ART NEWS through this channel! ALL MEMBERS have the ability to send group notices!

The Creatives, Artists and Musicians group has been around and doing this for quite sometime...group notices included.

Groups

Well it's about time. I do believe the Lindens need to allow us Unlimited Groups, as many of us who are in These Artist or Independent Music groups, etc....also have many of our own, for Ex I run Several of them and find myself always having to get rid of another, in order to join another....25 is not enough eh?
Great Group you are starting, and yes, we used to have one a long time ago, but havn't seen it (had to remove myself to join another)
