First, let me say that I am very proud to be a part of such a compassionate and generous community. The support and benevolence was phenominal! There are no words sufficient to express the gratitude I have for being a part of this event. But its the results that are important and here they are:

Total Inworld $L contributions: $L662,500
Total SLExchange contributions: $L 27,500
Toal Paypal contributions: $ 280.00

At current GOM conversion rates that equates to about $3,000 u.s.

From the http://www.americares.org/about/ webpage:
The model is time-tested, cost-effective and experience-driven. In the recently completed fiscal year, auditing discloses that each $100 in cash contributions enabled AmeriCares to deliver more than $3,000 in emergency relief, including medicines, medical supplies, clothing, footwear, blankets and nutritional supplements.

As you can see the funds will go a long way in providing relief to the disaster victims in Aisa and Africa.

So many people supported through contibutions, donations, raffles, special events and volunteering. Several Clubs and Groups rallied their efforts for this cause. It was a privilege to work together for such a worthwhile endevor. Special thanks need to go to...

Transylvania Vampire Empire Group (largest group contribution, $L105,000!!)
SLExchange (Merwan and Apotheus, who dedicated time and talent)
The PLUSH Group (Blue and Alissa whose coordinated efforts helped make this possible)
The House of Pain (Wench and Flea helped to raise 55K)
Teazers (Mark, Trixie and Bella, you guys are the best!)
The Edge (Jenna, Bunny and Crew, great job!)
Spellbound (Baccara and Fey were amazing!)
The DJ's (Sangi, Sugar, Jaded, Dom, hire these guys, they rock!)
The Eros Group (Shari, Nexeus, Fyre, Carson and Crew, thank you!)
The Designers of SL (Fey, Baron, Kimmera and Bacarra raised over $L120,000!)

Special thanks to: Phaedrus, Waysedated, Kurohyu, Sky, Stardust and Pal

And to everyone who contributed, volunteered and supported...TYSVM! :)
