Fashion Shows/Fashion Calendar?

I'm a fan of the fashion scene in RL (just now getting into it) so I've been researching more and more into events in SL.

I haven't found anything that really coincides with the Fashion world calendar. Is there a huge sim-wide event, much like Hair Fair for clothing designers each season? I haven't really heard anything past Hair Fair ad holiday business.

If there isn't, how would someone go about getting something like it organized for running? I'd like it if something like this were around, but I've no idea where to start!
