Greetings, i don't know who, if anyone, can do anything with this information, but i came across a bulletin on MySpace about a Mardi Gras celebration/Katrina benefit and thought maybe someone from that area could possibly use the info to include an SL showing between the two. the bulltin read as follows: From: someone hey ya'll!!! just wanted to put the word out there that on february 28th...its a tuesday...there is going to be a mardi gras party to benefit the victims of hurricane katrina!!! where: acoustic cafe 2926 fairfield ave bridgeport, ct 21+ the excitement begins at 6:30pm...$10 for early birds...$15 after 9pm...all proceeds go to the Salvation Army and benefits those most affected by the disaster! there will be live music...raffle prizes...and most importantly good down home southern cookin'!!! bridgeport, ct Freaky. I'm from Bridgeport (don't live there anymore). Fairfield ave isn't too bad in most parts as far as Bridgeport goes. Never heard of that cafe. Hope the party people don't end up in father panic village during the festivities though. (if you're from bpt, or been there, you'll know what I mean). Say hi to the Latin Kings for me! Or the Brotherhood!

Why do you say that Lecktor? I am from Texas but, I now live in Louisiana. I have heard a lot of bad things said about New Orleans but, never before have I heard someone say they wanted something bad to happen.

I said that mainly from the gimme gimme gimme attitude all involved down there have taken. What about Biloxi? What of Gulfport? What about the entire state of Florida? Do you ever hear about how they are recovering? Newp. And really what sense does it make to rebuild that place when exactly the same thing can and will happen again?
