It is obviosuly tha the Lindens dont have a clue. Look at the biggest event of them all the Confernece coming up in rl.

cant believe they want us to pay them 60 real bucks a day to hear phillip linden read his prerehersed bedtime stories about how great sl is. his voice itself is enough to put you to sleep checl out podcast on itunes hear him on the town hall meeting.

and then its not only a phillip fest but it is a field trip , how charming , bet it cost less than 60 bucks to get into the aquarium. infact it costs less than 10 bucks

my friend and and i are within driveable distance and were going to come but once we read the price and what it included well we decided that the trip down there wa not gong to be worth it as we would not get to see other residents the sole purpose of the EVENT was to hear phillip and go to the museum

how here is how it should have been set up
booths representing each sim or groups even in a convention hall and not an arm and leg to get in etiher. we pay umteen bucks on either plane tickets or gas to get there why do we have to pay huge bucks to talk to other residents. i do that on SL itself. Then we can intermingle. now if Phillip wants to pad his pockets on the seminars he is leading good rent another building and room for that. but
Lets plan an EVENT where resdients can get togehter and meet. there is food and soda and all. just one big social event. not an EVENT that is a field trip and to hear Phillips bedtime stories.

Sounds like you know what you're doing.... I can't wait for your even cooler event that'll cost less than $60 and won't have Phillip there. Lemme know when it's a go, and I'll be there
