How long does it usually take for payment to be received for Linden-supported events?

After hosting my third SL event, I submitted my report on Sunday and expected to receive my L$750 within a couple of days, as I had for my previous events. Four days later, I haven't received my dosh. Is this normal? I haven't had to sell any jewellery yet, but this evening my avatar did choose frugally to dine on a Pot Noodle instead of a nice juicy steak.

I suppose the Lindens have been busy in the last few days, given today's announcement, so I'm not whining; I'd just be interested to hear from a few people how long it usually takes for their hosting payment to be delivered.

It can take up to a week, in my experience.

I also had problems with getting the support money for my events, even after the report was submitted. a few time i ran out of money to run my scheduled events!

also, i am having problem with SL support. i have a 2nd accout which mystiriously stopped working. i have the pw written down and it wont work. i followed the online pw reset instruction and received a notice says that they got my email and i will get a reply soon. but days have passed and the problem is still not resolved.

i think there is some problem with real-world opetations and supports at the LindenLabs. these issues should not take this long to get resolved, and ppl should get paid sooner, or on a set schedule. some of us need to budget and plan our money with events.

What is going on Linden Lab?

As the Event Support Guildelines state, it can take a few working days. Recently we've had a surge of event host asking for support so it will occasionally be longer.

I too would like to receive Event Recorder v0.7 from Jeff. Huh, Jeff, huh?

Even more, I'd like a web-based event payment tracking system, whereby event hosts could submit requests for Linden support. (I often worry that my email request for Linden money has been lost in the post.) Each payment request could receive an ID number, which would then be used by the host to track the status of that request (acknowledged/pending/paid/rejected/etc). Any long-standing payment requests could be made a priority. Personally, I'm reluctant to host event B before payment for event A has been received (largely because I don't want to lose track of which payment is due for which event). If support requests were logged transparently on the web rather than by email, I'd be much more willing to host new games before receiving late payment for previous games.
