Searching for Romantic slow dancing clubs

I'm looking for a few good clubs where they play just slow music for a romantic type atmosphere.
They had a few I knew about but they recently closed down. Places like the Love Bugg, that was a really nice club but it's gone now as well as a few others that were here before.

I would appreciate any names of clubs like this.

For lovely big band 40's music, a relaxed atmosphere, I'd suggest this one club, dang I'm at work and can't recall the full name, it's The Blue something.

A number of jazz clubs have emphasized the romantic aspect. Also, a small one with 40's feelings Casablanca. I have their LM if u want to IM me in world.
Also,I have a number of sweet couples who visit my club when I don't have eventsand slowdance or use the romantic gazebo. We don't have romantic events, they just use it when it's quiet and want a little private time.

The Blue Note? They were my neighbors in Mocis, but now they have an island.

Might be it, I'll hae to check my lm's when I get home. I hope I lm'd it. I'll know the place if I see it, had a small pond with swans, elevated dancing area, lovely atmosphere, was a lovely night dancing.

Hi all ... My 1st post ..... had only been in SL 3 weeks I was tp'd to "Avilion" .... Loved it ... Been back soo many times, SL world set to midnite is Awesome )) 9 weeks old now n still lovin it

Hate to toot our own horn (grin) but give "All That Jazz" a try, music by Martini in the Morning and more dance balls that you can shake a prim at. Main dance floor, garden with a nice cuddling gazebo and a quiet 'table for two' dining area.

Yeppers, it's the Blue Note. Now if I could just get away from the job one night to go dancing.

Hmm I have a small place that I opened for such..nothing much but nice music and comfy atmosphere .. you can search ~~@ La Rosa @~~ in places for it ;p

One club that comes to mind is SMOOTH located in Frolic. Their building is right in front of mine and they have a VERY romantic theme with jazz playing over the radio.

I just opened a new club called URBANITY in the beginning of July. It's got an art deco, tropical vibe with warm tones and a permanent sunset. The music leans towards smooth jazz, salsa, bossa nova, or classic jazz tunes. We have events Wednesday - Saturdays. Live musicians perform on Saturdays starting at 7PM SLT. Class 5 sim will keep you lag free! Be sure to find those private dances and romantic cuddle balls outside the club. Formal or evening attire is encouraged.

Another nice one is Antares Lounge. The music styles vary from DJ to DJ, and all of it is good for romantic dancing. The lounge is intimate, and I've never seen lag there. There's a huge variety of couples dances. Antares also has board games like soduko (suduko?), tic tac toe and chess. All of it is free. There's usually just a DJ and sometimes a host.
As with any of the romantic places, if you visit and love it, please look around for a donation box and/or tip the DJ a little something. These places aren't out to get rich, they just want to cover their tier and give you a nice place to be.

My sweetie and I have found a couple of great places for romantic slow dancing in SL. One is Martini's Jazz Lounge in Business Bureau Isle ; it is a beautiful, romantic place for couples only, lots of dance balls and we have gone there a couple times and have not been disappointed! The other place we've gone to lately is Seabreeze Jazz Club in South Vista, another classy place for people to slow dance and enjoy some great music too! It's nice to have some places that are romantic, unique and classy for a night out in SL! I'd highly recommend both of these!

The Blue Note is a favorite, for some reason I always have a hard time finding it in search so I use my LM of course, but if you look up Naydee McGettigan it's in her picks.

Phat Cat's seems to be a major meeting place for singles.

Other nice ones include Bogart's & Red Velvet.

And I thought Love Bugg was still around, in Gunn sim?

My fav was also Love Bugg, we found our way now in Avilon.
But can someone tell me where I can buy the falling hearts what maked Love Bugg so special?

The Heavenly Rose garden is lovely for a romantic dancing night!

This is good news then. This place was a very nice place for couples. Nicely decorated in red and enough good slow dancing balls.

Maybe some of these other clubs and ballrooms should take a tip from this place.
