Alex here, one of the top SL Dogfighter Aces.
I'm happy to announce that starting October 1st, which is on a Saturday, Abbotts Aerodrome will be hosting a weekly Aircraft Builders Contest. The theme for this week will be the same like the last one held. "Best-in-show" with the best being selected by votes from the spectators. Cash prizes will be distrubted among the winners of the contest.
NOTE: To make it fair this time around we won't be accepting any entries from well known aircraft builders.

From: Chage McCoy Cubey Doh! I'm banned from the contest! Seriously, though, you don't need to have every built a plane before to have fun at this.

At which time? Most of the interesting events on Saturdays are in American time, and being at game time +9, I'm either asleep or in a party...

Oh fun! I'll try and remember to show up, if I haven't been dragged away from my DSL connection by friends.

Sorry about this

I have to postpone the event until the following day. I forogt to ask to have the autoreturn turned off the previous night.
But to clarify on the new rule. Our last winner was a regular builder for a known aircraft firm and the design won in a landslide by the audience.

It kind of impllies "airplanes" but technically includes dirigibles. If it includes dirigibles, does it include balloons? Or one could think it refers to powered aricraft only, in which case, does it include spaceships? If it includes spaceships, does it include only those with atmosphereic flight? And what about Flying Saucers?
