I don't know if this is the place to put it, but people keep asking me what the results were and whether I had posted them on the forums. So, I hope this is the place.
We had a pretty good turnout for the contest.
Over 100 people took advantage of the Plant Bazaar.
Over 225 different people came to the contest area on Touchstone Island (this is minus the 3 days the visitor counter was not working).
We had 51 voters for the popular vote.
6 prizes were given out (3 popular, 3 judged)
Popular vote = Naughty Pussycat (1st) for her pastoral BBQ, Thrash Prototype (2nd) for his Tiny BBQ, Forcythia Wishbringer (3rd) for her Orc BBQ.
Judged vote = Naughty Pussycat (1st), Forcythia Wishbringer (2nd), Tessa Harrington (3rd)
In addition, we had a number of associated activities that had good turnouts.
Margot Abbatoir gave classes in waterfalls (about 24-30 people at each!)
Khamon Fate gave 2 classes on building trees.
Treachen Under gave a class on basic scripting and topiary and since there were some computer problems,
Max Case chipped in on the class in basic scripting.
I can't tell you how much I appreciated these people and their very well planned classes. Thank you.
